Destination Schools

For the fourth year in a row the school gained a 100% pass rate for Haileybury entrance examinations which is a great achievement.  An overwhelming majority of our pupils are now leaving our school scoring well above the national average.  35% and 39% of our cohort achieved well above the national average in Maths and English respectively. This translated to an average point score of 112 in both subjects, 12 points above the national average of 100.

Three children were awarded academic scholarships for Bishop’s Stortford College (2) and Haileybury (1) and 95% of the children got places at their first choice of secondary school.  The wide variety of destination schools reflects the very personal approach the school takes to ensuring that individuals move on to a school which perfectly fits their talents and interests.

Children achieve well across the school. In Year 4 English and Year 5 Maths, the number of children achieving a standardised score of 120+ (well above the national average) is at a record high.
