Pre-Prep: ages 4-7

At this age, children are naturally curious and interest and eagerness are high and so it is important that sound academic foundations and skills are built upon and extended.

Caring and professional teachers are quick to recognise your child’s strengths and support their learning by building on sound academic foundations so that they can become well-rounded, happy individuals. Children are mainly taught in their own class by their class teacher and dedicated support staff but Music, Science and Languages are taught by our specialist teachers.

Naturally, traditional values such as respect for each other and tolerance, kindness and sharing are also highly encouraged. Our curriculum offers opportunities for individual and group work, practical tasks and investigations to ensure that every child is able to achieve learning objectives.

You too can be a part of your child’s development and we are always keen to encourage parents to come into school and read with children. You are also warmly invited to attend our special Friday Assemblies and do not forget to save the date for the annual Christmas Play which is performed by all the Pre-Prep and Nursery children in December.
