After School Care Club for Infants & Juniors - As you are aware, this excellent service is available every afternoon of the school term when we are more than happy to accept children at very short notice.  However, if you have booked your child in advance on a certain day we would respectfully request that you contact the office if you will in fact be collecting your child that day and do not need the service. It is vital that children are accounted for at all times and by keeping us informed it will also alleviate the confusion and administration burden for Miss Clark, who runs the club, trying to locate a child she has on her list.  Many thanks for your co-operation in this matter.

Parents Fellowship Fireworks Night - Friday 6th November - This is such an enjoyable evening for children and parents alike.  If you haven't already purchased your tickets please complete the form (issued as a hard copy on Monday and also in last week's mailing) and place in the Parents Fellowship box in the Entrance Hall together with payment, by Tuesday 3rd November at the latest.  After this date tickets can be purchased on the night (£4 for tickets in advance and £5 on the night). However, it does help greatly to know numbers in advance for the purposes of catering.

Commencement of Second Half of Autumn Term - As shown on the Calendar of Events, the school will be closed on Monday 2nd November

Harvest Festival Drop-Off - Wet Weather Contingency
Written by Neil Jones
Tuesday, 20 October 2009 16:38

In the event of extremely wet conditions on Wednesday 21st October, we would ask that you follow the guidelines below.  Please note that this may cause a good deal of conjestion on St Mary's Lane so we ask you to be patient and considerate.

1.  Members of the Choir and Probationers Choir should be dropped off at the gates to St Mary's Church on St Mary's Lane, where a member of staff will meet them, by 8.30am at the latest

2.  If your child normally attends Breakfast Club, this will continue as normal and they will be taken from the school to the Church by minibus.

3.  All other children should be dropped off at school by 8.30a.m, at the latest, from where they will be taken to the Church.

4.  It is important the drive is clear of cars by 8.45am so that the minibuses can begin ferrying children to the church.  Therefore, please leave the school car park as soon as possible or leave your car and walk up to the church if you are attending.  I have spoken to the White Horse Hotel and, should you wish, they do serve coffee!

Easter Courses with Sports Xtra - You should have received a leaflet this week, via your child, with details of courses being run, for children from 5 years upwards, during the Easter holiday.  Please check your child's bag.  If the leaflet has gone astray and you would like details of the courses on offer, please call in at the Reception Office.

Circusology' visit - Infants & Juniors - 24th February.  Unfortunately, there are still some payments outstanding for this event.  If you are still to pay could you please do so - by Monday 23rd March.  As you will no doubt appreciate, we must settle this account as soon as possible and certainly by the end of this term.  Cost is £4.00 per child. Many thanks.
