Democracy comes to St. Joseph's In The Park.
Yesterday, our dining room became a polling station and Mrs Heath-Clark the Returning Officer as the Juniors voted for their preferred candidate for our new School Council. The children decided if they would like to stand for election and then had spent the week preparing their manifestos, sharing them with the fellow class members. The children in each class then voted for the boy and girl who they would like to represent them on the Council. We await the results on the first Friday Assembly after half term!
